Wilkinson Financial Management Supports Second Consecutive Seashell Charity Golf Day
For the second year running, Wilkinson Financial Management proudly served as the headline sponsor for the Seashell Charity Golf Day, held on 4th September 2025 at the stunning Mottram Hall.
Once again, the event drew nearly 100 local people and golf enthusiasts. Participants engaged in a challenging round, took part in the Beat the Pro contest, and enjoyed raffle activities - all in support of Seashell.
This year the golf day was hosted at Mottram Hall’s Championship Golf Course which is set in 270 acres of Cheshire's finest parkland. The hotel is also celebrated for its exceptional Champney’s Spa and dining facilities, meaning that non-golfers could also take part in this year’s fundraising activities.
Attendees also enjoyed a delicious brunch followed by a three-course dinner in the St. Andrews Suite, culminating in an Awards Ceremony that recognised the top teams.
An impressive £16,840.00 was raised for Seashell, a leading national charity dedicated to supporting children and young adults with complex learning disabilities.
Seashell offers specialised education at its outstanding school and college, along with residential and respite care services. The funds raised will directly enhance the quality of facilities and create enriching life experiences for its students.
